Thai Massage

In our T-studio you have the opportunity to experience a session or a course of Thai massage. We use the technique of Northern Thailand, which differs from the quite popular Southern technique. The practitioner utilizes the weight of their own body, thus adjusting the pressure on the patient’s body zones. Additionally, unlike the Southern style, not only finger techniques are applied, but there is also an absence of force. The master employs a gentle and soft approach to the client through this powerful healing methodology.

Thai massage is primarily used for therapeutic purposes. Through Thai massage man can address various issues in the body, from musculoskeletal problems to internal organs and neurological conditions. This unique procedure has an impact on the entire organism. However, besides its therapeutic effects, this type of massage is used as a means of relaxation and for developing the physiological functions of the human body, contributing to a more effective practice of yoga and other physical activities.

The Thai massage technique has a significant positive effect on the nervous system, calming it by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. During the session the master works with both the physical body and its energy, allowing for a finer adjustment and assisting in initiating natural health recovery programs.

Thai massage is a unique way to maintain health and high performance. After a session overall physical and psychological well-being improves, immunity is boosted, capillary blood circulation normalizes, lymphatic drainage is enhanced and consequently, the elimination of toxins from the body occurs.

The client remains clothedduring the massage, but it is necessary to be dressed comfortably, preferably in clothing made of natural fabrics without a slippery effect. Thai massage does not involve the use of oils or any accessories. In our studio Thai massage sessions are conducted by Yulia Tkachenko, a certified practitioner who continues her education at the METTA School of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai.
